I didn’t run into any major issues using the site. Finding reels and checking the details was straightforward, which was nice since I wasn’t expecting it to be that smooth. Checkout did take a minute to load, but overall it was easy enough to get through

I sent my reel in to get repaired, and to be fair, it did come back working properly, so I can’t really complain about the actual repair work itself. The main issue for me was just how long the whole process took. I was expecting it to be a bit quicker, or at least to get a little more communication along the way, but there wasn’t much in the way of updates while I was waiting. It wasn’t a horrible experience or anything, and the reel is working now, which is obviously the most important part. But when fishing season is going on and you’re kind of counting on your gear, the extra wait gets frustrating. Overall, I’d say it was okay, just slower than I hoped, so 3 stars feels about right.

I’m still waiting to hear back about my reel warranty, and the replies have been painfully slow. It’s frustrating enough dealing with a warranty issue, but getting stuck with what feels like automated responses and no real person actually helping makes it even worse.

I’ve used Abu Garcia gear in the past and always had a good experience, so I really wanted to like this reel. It felt fine right out of the box, but after maybe four fishing trips it started grinding a little and the handle began to feel loose. For the price, I expected it to hold up better. It still works, but it just doesn’t feel like something that’s going to last very long. I also would’ve expected a faster response when trying to get some help with it. Overall, I’m disappointed.

AbuGarcia.com was the one that actually had the reel I wanted in stock, which was a nice change compared to everywhere else. Ordering was simple, and I didn’t have to wait around forever. Overall, happy with the experience.

I bought a reel from abugarcia.com i’m happy with it. The casting distance ain’t no joke, I’m hitting spots I used to miss, even with lighter lures. So far it feels smooth, easy to use, and I haven’t had no issues with it.

I’ve been using Abu Garcia rods and reels for a while now, so this time I figured I’d just order straight from the site instead of going through a local shop... seemed easier at the time.
The reel arrived in good shape and feels pretty much like the quality I was expecting. Shipping was okay, not especially quick, but not terrible either. I do wish the tracking had updated a little better though, because I kept checking it and not seeing much change...
The only reason I’d say 4 stars instead of 5 is that the website felt a bit clunky on my phone. Nothing major, just not the smoothest. Overall I’m still happy with the order and I’d probably buy from them again...

I was kind of rushing when I checked out Abu Garcia, but the site made it easy to find what I needed. They had a nice mix of rods, reels, and combos instead of just the same basic stuff you see everywhere. I could compare sizes and styles without wasting a bunch of time, which was a relief. My reel showed up right on time, which I appreciated since I was hoping to get it ready before my next fishing trip with my brother. The box did have a few dents on one corner, but thankfully the reel was packed well inside and there wasn’t any damage to it. Grabbed a reel from Abu Garcia and it’s been good so far. Price felt fair, shipping was fine, and the reel feels solid—not cheap. Smooth enough for what I need. Happy with it and I’d buy from them again

I needed a couple spare parts for an old reel I’ve had forever, and wasn’t sure I’d even find them... but they had them in stock. Checkout was quick and easy too, so yeah, happy with it...

I’m still waiting on my refund after three weeks, which is frustrating. I’ve checked my email a bunch of times, even while making coffee this morning, and there’s still no real update. I get that delays happen, but at this point I’d really just like my money back or at least a clear answer on what’s going on.
